What to Expect

At McKinney Fellowship, we feel that it’s OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of McKinney Fellowship. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids…? Here is a quick look at what you can expect, based on what people see when they visit McKinney Fellowship.

How do I get there?

Directions to our facility

When are your services?

How should I dress?

The way you feel most comfortable. Some people will wear dresses and suits and others will wear jeans and very casual clothing. Truly come as you are, or how you are most comfortable.

Do I need to bring anything?

You may want to bring a Bible in order to follow along with the message, and a pen if you want to take notes.

What are the services like?

Most of our services incorporate singing, a message, and an offering. We also often incorporate drama, video, and special music. We also have Video Cafe and services in Spanish. Our Senior Pastor, Bruce Miller, brings powerful, inspiring messages direct from God's Word. Each week Bruce relates God's Word to our daily lives, at times comforting and at times convicting. Our hope is that you leave changed by the power of God speaking to you through His Word.

Where do I park?

There are designated guest parking spaces especially for you! The parking lot attendants will provide you with a facility map and answer any questions that you might have.

Which doors do I use?

The doors at the southeast side of the building next to the large playground. There is a canopy over the doors on this side. Our greeters will be glad to assist you and answer any questions.

Where should I go once inside the building?

Feel free to mingle around once inside, visit Guest Services for a Welcome Packet, or enjoy a cup of coffee in High Connections.

Where do the kids go?

On Sunday mornings McKinney Fellowship has a wonderful program for our kids... Promiseland. While the parents are enjoying the service, the kids are learning about God at their level. Our greeters will show you where to register your child and where to obtain a temporary ID badge that will allow you to go back to the classrooms and later have the authority to pick your child back up. No one is allowed back in this area unless they are displaying a Promiseland badge. Your child's security is very important to us. If this is your first visit, someone will help direct you to the age-appropriate room for your child. Feel free to stay for a few minutes to ask the teacher questions and see what they will be studying that particular day.
